We also explain how the services we offer work and how the protection of your personal data is guaranteed. a) When you visit our website (hereinafter referred to as the ‘website’).
When you visit our website www.ahoyberlin.com, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted:​

  • Date and time of access

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file

  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL)

  • The browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider​

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. We also use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. If you contact our company, personal data will be collected. If you use the contact forms provided on our website, the type and scope of the data collected can be seen from the contact form itself; if you contact us by other means (e.g. by e-mail), you have decided for yourself in the message sent to us the type and scope of data you wish to transmit to us. The data will be used exclusively for the purpose of processing your enquiry and the associated technical administration required. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily granted consent. The personal data collected by us will be deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with, provided that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

We would like to provide you with comprehensive information. For this reason, our website also contains links to other websites. Please note that this data protection declaration only applies to content on our servers and does not cover the websites linked to our site; we have no influence on the content and design of these external websites, or the data protection practised there.

d) Ahoy! Berlin GmbH is not responsible for the content of websites that are accessed via links and were not created by Ahoy! Berlin GmbH.

e) Through Google, we measure the performance of the adverts provided to us.
By providing a tool that allows us to more accurately assess the performance of the adverts provided to us, Google allows us to improve the quality and relevance of the adverts you see. To measure performance, Google uses small strings of text (also called ‘cookies’) that are stored on your computer when you click on an advert. Normally, cookies remain active on your computer for about 30 days. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en-GB) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’). In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used.

are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
